About MFE

History of MFE

MFE is a training business under the Nelson group of companies.

In 1962 Theo Nelson was amongst a group of the first embalming students to be trained in Australia. Since that time Nelson Bros Funeral Services has been involved with funeral service training, education and learning.

When the opportunity presented itself to acquire MFE in 2011, it seemed a logical vehicle to raise the standard of funeral service education, providing practical opportunities for further education for both current and future funeral practitioners.

2019 brings exciting new advances for MFE with the introduction of our online learning system.
